It’s an honor & pleasure to host 10 diplomats from Kenya along with Amb.Macharia Kamau– Principle secretary- ministry of foreign affairs, Amb. Moi Lemoshira – Director General, Bilateral & political affaires Kenya & Amb. Stella Mokaya Orina on 26th July.
The diplomats were warmly welcomed by Mr.Mishal Ali– MD – CKDL along with flower girls & briefly introduced the back ground of the Bangladesh apparel industry, the short history of CKDL as well as future strategies of the organization. Mr.Donald Fernando– CEO brought diplomats through the shop floor with detail process explanation.
The simple but robust & reliable manufacturing processes, the investment that has done by the management to develop employees, & engaging every employees to continuous improvement through the suggestion system were appreciated by diplomats while the GEMBA.
Visitors were impressed with the way that CKDL allowed employees to grow up in various career paths such as team leaders, RAB operator etc. & encouraged them by having few words with some employees.
Your visit was a compliment for us. We wish we would have had more time to talk, but perhaps that will happen another day. Thanks for your kindness and generosity.
